It’s time we had this thread. We have let Parham and McCready dominate the discussion for far too long — despite Neal’s correct mayo takes.
Here’s the deal:
A) Ketchup is King. It can go on anything. Chicken. Burgers. Hotdogs. Corn dogs. Chicken biscuits. Chicken minis. Meatloaf (mixture topping). Mac and cheese. Lays plain chips. Fries. Catfish. The list is long. Most foods used with ketchup are simply a vehicle for ketchup delivery.
B) People who put it on pizza are future serial killers.
C) The appropriate sauce ranking is as such:
- Ketchup
- BBQ
- Ranch (unless it’s really good, in which it’s #1)
- That’s all
D) Chick Fil A sauce is way overrated.
E) Mayo should never be used unless it’s chipotle mayo or an aioli of some sort. And only small quantities. I’m not sorry,
@Neal McCready has been right for years on this.
F) Buffalo sauce tastes and smells like someone ate Taco Bell, regurgitated it, froze it, then heated it back up in a microwave with salmon. It is even less useful than mayo.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Hopefully you will be able to apply these life lessons to better your own.
