It’s actually a great day for Memphis Basketball fans attending the Ole Miss game because today they will know when they leave the game their car will still be in the same spot they parked it.

After todays announcement of the Peach Bowl matchup between ole miss and penn state, I began to think of recent bowl games.

Within the last ten seasons:

2014: 9-3 (Peach Bowl NY6)
2015: 9-3 (Sugar Bowl NY6)
2016: 5-7 (Sanctions and Bowl Ban)
2017: 6-6 (Sanctions and Bowl Ban)
2018: 5-7 (Sanctions and Bowl Ban)
2019: 4-8 (No bowl ban but coming off sanctions.)
2020: 4-5 (Outback Bowl)
2021: 10-2 (Sugar Bowl NY6)
2022: 8-4 (Texas Bowl)
2023: 10-2 (Peach Bowl)

4 NY6 bowls in the last 6 ole miss football seasons when not under sanctions. Pretty good. While it’s chaotic, I believe the transfer portal and NIL will be very good to ole miss during this next phase of college football.

When I pull up the lots on the bowl site they all seem to be “at your own risk - no security as we don’t own it”.
We’ve got someone that’s coming with us that needs to park closer and just wanted to make sure we wouldn’t go wrong with any of those lots with shortest walking distance.
