Playoff scenarios

Bama winning tomorrow would be hell for the CFP committee.
So what happens if: Bama wins, Texas wins, Washington wins, and Florida state wins.
You have two undefeated teams, a team that beat Georgia, and obviously Georgia. And a team that played Michigan very close.
Michigans number 1 in this scenario.
3 spots, 5 teams. Two teams are going to be very unhappy.

Let’s throw a mega wrench into this and say Iowa beats Michigan. Unlikely but I have truly no idea in that scenario.

O.T Nutrafol hairloss treatment

Anyone with experience, I’ve had problems with hairloss for the past 10-15 years, I had alopecia totalis and lost about 75% of the hair off of my scalp, eyelashes and eyebrows gone. I was able to get most of it back (about 97%) with steroid injections and latisse for eyelashes and eyebrows. I was never able to fully recover growth around the ear line and at my part. Looking for the best method possible.

The most ridiculous thing about the CFP selection process- Part 2

So this committee made up of people with this wealth of football knowledge with access to all kinds of data have decided that Washington is the 3rd best team in the country and Oregon is the 5th best team. And those 2 are about to play in Vegas, which is clearly a neutral site.

But the casinos (who must stand behind their number or lose lots of money) have Oregon as a 9.5 point favorite. Make it make sense.

I guess that those guys from the Caesar's sportsbook were not able to ask all of the pencil pushing ADs on the committee and especially the teacher/journalist person about why they have Washington as the better team.

NY6 Scenarios

I’ve kept a good close eye on this the last weeks and through today. After Kentuckys defeat of Louisville we can likely expect them to move behind us in the rankings next week. We should move up to No. 11. Ohio state lose and should fallback but not past us. Had Auburn won and Bama lost again to Georgia next week I think they would have fallen below us at 10-3 but alas they found a way. Florida had a lead on FSU which would have been beneficial for us but they let it slip.

If I’m correct, for us to make our way into the NY6 games we need to get to the No. 10 spot. Here’s why. No. 1 thing is one of the NY6 spots is reserved for the G5 team highest ranked, currently Tulane which is a good win for us. If Louisville loses to FSU next week AND FSU makes the playoff then the Orange Bowl is contractually obligated to get an ACC team which would be Louisville even if they’re ranked behind us and we would be out. If Louisville beats FSU then FSU would fall back but I’m afraid Louisville would jump us again with the ACC crown.

I think it’s as simple as that. We need to get to the 10 spot and have FSU miss the playoff so they can occupy the Orange Bowl slot. OR they could swap us with Penn state but I don’t see that happening. I don’t see anyone ahead of us losing in a conference title game next week and falling behind us. IMO we are all but Orlando bound unless the committee were to put a 12-1 Texas in the playoff over 13-0 FSU.

When circumstances at the margins indicate that teams are comparable, then the following criteria must be considered:
  • Championships won
  • Strength of schedule
  • Head‐to‐head competition (if it occurred)
  • Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory)

Sorry Mizzou you lose out.
