Will Weis Jr. have any G5 or other P5 OC offers?

Scoring offense in conference: 7th in the SEC
On the road: 11th in the SEC
Redzone TD% in conference: 8th in the SEC
3rd down conversions in conference: 10th in the SEC

Our offense had some injuries, but man, it feels like our offense just stalls way too much and gets way too predictable. Lebby wasn't perfect, but I do think our offense in 2020 and 2021 was schematically more creative than what Weis Jr. brings to the table to pair with Kiffin.

As much as NIL, it would be nice to bring in an offensive mind who we can pair with Kiffin to really push the needle forward with offensive efficiency. Would Weis Jr. have any opportunities? Will Kiffin keep him on?

2023 Ole Miss vs 2021 Ole Miss

I was thinking about the two 10-2 teams. 2021 and 2023. I was thinking about how much turnover was on the roster from then to now. I was starting to discuss with a buddy about how I think this years team would beat 21 team. If anyone not named Georgia was placed on the schedule we probably go 11-1.

If you made me put a line on it, and this is just my opinion, but I think 2023 would be a 3-4 point favorite over the 2021 team.

The Athletic Rankings

Although their rankings have no relevance, they did have us at 9 in front of Mizzou, OK, & Penn St. They mentioned how important bottom part of top 10 was to NY6 bowls. Talked about our wins over LSU and Tulane being the difference. Hopefully that is because they are hearing or believing the same thing everyone else was discussing yesterday.

Head Coaching moves

Am I the only one that finds both of the new SEC hires dull?

I mean, I guess I get State hiring Lebby. Neal and others have stated over and over that it’s a tough job in this climate. Not a lot of suitors.

And yes, Elko has done a solid coaching job at Duke. But I can’t wrap my head around paying Jimbo $76M to hire someone whose only HC job has been two years at Duke.
