This may have just been me but did anyone else feel like there was increase in Colonel Reb merchandise, stickers, flags, etc. in the Grove and at football games this year? Maybe I haven’t noticed it in years past but it seemed like the popularity of the former mascot has substantially increased.

I'm surprised his name hasn't been thrown around.

According to a source with knowledge of the plan who confirmed it to FBSchedules.com, the 2024 SEC football schedule will likely be released between the end of the 2023 regular-season and the start of bowl season. It obviously would not be released on Selection Sunday (Dec. 3), so that would put the schedule release somewhere between Monday, Dec. 4 and Friday, Dec. 15.

As a reminder here's who the Rebels are playing:
Home - OU, UK, UGA, MSU, MTSU, Furman, GA Southern
Road - Arkansas, UF, South Carolina, LSU, Wake Forest

New Mexico State, a 25.5 point underdog at Auburn has been the second biggest upset of the season..

#1 upset? Texas State beating Baylor. Baylor was a 27.5 point favorite..

The thing about those upsets was that they weren't decided late in the game.. Both upset winners basically built leads and ran the clock out on the favorites..

Iowa moved down to 19th in one poll and 20th in the other after narrowly beating Illinois yesterday and will probably fall out of the Top 25 altogether after they get pummeled by either Ohio State or Michigan in the Big 10 championship game, so if they end up being our opponent in the Citrus Bowl, as is projected, it will be an absolute no- win proposition for us. We will gain absolutely nothing by beating them and it would be a disaster if we lost to them….
