Senior Class

I copied this from the Mizzou board as this applies a lot to us as well (did not edit original post as you can tell)
------------------------------------------------------------

Went through a coaching change
Played a season in front of almost no fans
Were 2 games under .500
Never played a home game in front of a sold out stadium
Are now 8-2 playing in front of what is likely to be their fifth consecutive sellout with an opportunity to be a top 10 team headed to a New Year's Six bowl game.

A class's legacy is always determined by what comes after them (Brad Smith's legacy was enhanced by what Chase Daniel did for example). And there have been some really special senior classes at Missouri. If they finish this out the right way, guys like Kris Abrams-Draine, Ennis Rakestraw, Javon Foster, Darius Robinson, etc, should be remembered right alongside the best of any of those classes. The goal of any player is to leave a program better than he found it. Few groups have been a part of as much improvement in that regard as this one.

6 ULM tix and 2 Parking passes

Can’t go to the game. I have six tickets together in section D, approximately 35 yard line With chair backs. $50 each.

Parking passes for people who buy tickets:

Garage, first floor next to the stadium $75

Tad pad parking $50

they are e-tickets which I can transfer to you from official Ole Miss site. Rebels only!

I’m out of town, so please be patient, just PM me if you’re interested.

Since 1998

Aka over the last 25 years

Texas 8&4, is tied for last with Mississippi State, as far as the amount of 10 or more win seasons(2) in the SEC West.

When you compare it overall to the future 16 members of the SEC, that’s tied for second to last:

T- 15th- Kentucky (2)
T-15th- Miss State (2)
T- 15th- Texas 8&4 (2)
16th- Vandy (0)

Arkansas has more (3)
Ole Miss has more (3 closing on a fourth)
South Carolina has more (3)

So explain to me, why we all have to sit back, and listen to how amazing this job is when they have had more money than God, been apart of a major conference, had the biggest stadium blah blah, for the better part of three decades and have done ABSOLUTELY nothing with it?

Have we seen anyone nationally point this out? How stupid and rampant their boosters are? Or do we just gargle about how cool their bonfire is and how rich they are? Its the most underachieving, rich man’s Miss State with weird traditions program imaginable.

Thoughts on NIL spending

I’ve been thinking a lot bout this conversation from the Saturday night postgame show. I love Q and he is elite. I do wonder if we will see a shift in NIL spending. Teams say it’s not worth to spend 1 mil or whatever on a RB when they can pay a solid one 300k and send the rest to D line or so. I do think if NIL isn’t regulated then a certain “capology” will become normal for the schools who can’t spend unlimited money on any player they want
