OT- Dash Cameras

Wife and I were involved in a vehicle accident Friday night, everyone involved is ok. It’s come down to our word against there’s. We’ve contacted all the businesses around hoping they would have video, none do. Looking to purchase dash cams for our vehicles. What do you have? Pros and cons too please.

Let’s talk Football

So I was listening to Chris Childers on college XM channel this past weekend, and he and another lady were talking how the SEC is no longer the Godzilla of CFB bc the Big10 is King Kong.

Basically said UTx and UGA were the only contenders in the SEC while BIG10 had OSU, Michigan, PSU and Oregon.

Teams like LSU, OM, ATM and BAMA weren’t even mentioned.

IMO, all of the listed SEC schools could beat those BIG10 schools.
LSU has the talent to make a serious run at the CFP, hard to believe BAMA isnt going to be a contender and OM and ATM have a outside chance to make some noise…

What say you?

OT: Data Analytics

So - I’ve had a 20 year career doing what I’ve loved - been successful, made a bit of money…but I can see the trajectory of this business is heading to the shitter. Also, it’s a young man’s game and I honestly, at this point, steady money, task orientation and security sounds pretty appealing.

Which brings me to my question. I have family in the Healthcare (analytics) side of the biz and they have mentioned starting with SQL…getting certified. I see there are boot camps, courses, etc. I’m really flexible - I can keep doing what I’ve been doing and take a course, go to school, etc. Even work an internship. Is SQL the right direction?

Is this viable? I would assume the biggest challenge would be having a 20 year gap in a resume…and on that note, how would you even present that? I have accolades in my current profession, but they obviously have nothing to do with coding…

Any help is much appreciated.
