RECRUITING: National Signing Day Notes, presented by A-1 Discount Tree and Lawn Service

Welcome to National Signing Day, as Ole Miss secures its non-transfer class today and looks to add quite the big fish to its portal group with Walter Nolen. The Texas A&M defensive tackle told Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday he is down to Ole Miss and Oregon, and with Texas A&M and Georgia out of the way, Ole Miss is the prohibitive favorite, as people around Ole Miss and the Ducks expect him to join the Rebels. In hindsight, there was little substance to Georgia's run. It could happen as early as today, I was told last night.

Lane Kiffin speaks at 2 p.m. today. We'll have coverage of that. That's also the time Noreel White is expected to publicly sign in Moss Point.

I will edit this post as players send in their paperwork with the list of signees. That can happen as early as 7 a.m. in whichever time zone the player lives in.

Help! We're Moving to Houston Next Month.

I'm transferring from DC to Houston next month. I have to check into the office on the 29th.

We have been doing our best to get a feel for the area through word of mouth of real estate agents and the mighty internet.

From what we see, we like Spring, The Woodlands, Cypress, and Conroe. For those of you who live there, what is the best suburb for schools, things to do for families with young kids (which we are), and so on? I am from Jackson, so I know what sketchy is. Where do I avoid sketchy?

Also, my office is about 5 minutes south of The Woodlands Mall. Thanks in advance.

OT: Job search

Recently have been let go from my job of 8 years. Looking to make a possible career switch with a flexible schedule, I’ve been in maintenance and landscape for awhile but I have a business management degree. Making a career change is not always easy as most companies want you to have some experience.
If any of you know of anything in the Jackson metro area just shoot me a DM. Thank you

Which your favorite season?

I wait 10 months just for duck season, personally. Everything else, namely deer season, is like going to the grocery store (in the words of a friend). It’s a necessity, but duck hunting is a love.

I know I’m in the minority, so was jw where everyone else landed.
