Egg Bowl Seating

Doing Thanksgiving in Oxford so thinking of riding over to game that night. Wondering which sections are allocated to Ole Miss. I can tell 24 is from our ticket site but curious about others. I seem to remember one section in upper deck but it’s been 20+ years since I’ve been in that stadium and I have no interest in sitting in front of some tool ringing a cowbell. TIA.

Florida gave it away by giving up a 4th and 17 conversion to Missouri!

Knew when the Florida running back ran out of bounds instead of making Missouri have to call their final timeout with 1:36 seconds left was going to cost them. Still is no excuse to give up 4th and 17. It also hurt that Florida fumbled the ball in the red zone with a chance to go up 24-23 or 28-23 and Missouri recovers and throws a flair pass to their running back and he takes it to the house from about 76 yards. That turned the game around for Missouri and gave them hope. Flordia is the DR. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of the SEC!

UGA Steamrolling...

I was talking to a friend earlier tonight about SEC football.. Right now UGA looks very good... "three-peat" good...

We got to talking about which was more impressive for UGA.. beating OM 52-17 at Athens or beating Tennessee 38-10 at Knoxville...

On paper the 35 point win over OM is something.. But the 28 point win over TN was remarkable when you look deeper at the stats..

TN had a 75-yard TD run on the first play of the game... TN would gain only 202 yards the rest of the game and score just three points.. TN was 2-11 on third down and had 13 first downs.. They did hold UGA to 472 yards of offense.. UGA was 9-13 on third down.. UGA won the time of possession stat 41-19...

OM managed 352 yards and 18 first downs... OM was 6-15 on third downs.. Yes, OM gave up 611 yards offense.. UGA won the time of possession stat 31-29..

Yeah, our loss was a real stinker of a game, but the circumstances and setting was huge in favor of UGA..

The same circumstances could have been said about UT today with all the hoopla and glitter surrounding the game, but they bombed in their home loss, snapping a 14 game winning streak at Neyland Stadium before 101,915 fans...

Commitments

So from the looks of it we have some players coming in the defensive line. Who knows who all will pan out. Looking on the offensive side we have only two that is committed other than Echols and he is more than likely going to be on the defensive side. After watching the game today we need some dudes or some mean nasty monsters on that offensive line. With the NIL we have to figure it out with linemen. You can win games with out having a Q in the backfield. I know you have to pay a QB but somewhere you have to pay these lineman on both sides. Look at the NFL, who makes the most money. The QBs the blind side LT and beast on the defensive line. We also need some LBers.
