Over 80k American citizens stuck in Lebanon

Now the US taxpayers will have to pay for charters to assist them.
This is just another example of The Biden/Harris administration dropping the ball that will cause unnecessary death and injure to come to Americas.
Harris and Biden should have been out front on this and issued stern warnings to leave instead of sheltering in place . Reactionary governing is all they know how to do and then they’re even late doing that. I expect our citizens will now become prime targets to be taken as hostages.

A few thoughts

1. There will be no slander of the defense. They played well enough to win today, especially considering they were on the field for forty goddamn minutes.

2. I don’t think we’re going to recover from this loss. It was about as deflating as it could possibly be.

3. I genuinely don’t know how much better we can be as a team on paper. We have a great offense and a great defense, along with a coaching staff we consider to be solid all around. Even with all that, we can’t beat Kentucky at home. We might be on our way back to the depths at this rate.

4. What in the **** were we doing on that last drive? We had 2 and a half minutes, two timeouts and the two minute warning, and we don’t call a single running play to keep the playbook open?

5. I’m embarrassed. Like, genuinely embarrassed. Early time slot on ABC against a team we should have beaten and we looked like absolute shit.

If you think yesterday was a bummer

You should have been around in 1964 when we were pre-season#1 and played Memphis State #2 in Oxford. Game 2 was in Jackson and some buddies and I took my '47 Packard hearse to the coast (I'd never been) and listened to the game played inJackson on the radio in a bar, back when that was the deal, and KY whipped us 27-21. They had a LB named Dave Roller (one doesn't forget that stuff in 60 years) who was a one man wrecking crew against us. We went on to go 5-5-1.

Three Possible Outcomes/Feelings this Saturday

1) Ole Miss dominates and plays like the team everyone thought they were. Objectively, this is the best outcomes, but also will reinforce a lot of the feelings of frustration from the Kentucky game. Did we seriously blow one of our strikes on Kentucky? This also turns the LSU game into a must win, but could be the turning point in the season turning out like we all hoped.
2) Ole Miss wins a close/sloppy game that plays out similar to the Kentucky game, but Ole Miss comes out on top. To me this will signify it's the exact same team as last year. They're gonna play one possession coin flips all year and most likely get punished by UGA again and miss the playoff.
3) Ole Miss loses. Players will start quitting. LSU game will be a nightmare and opt outs will begin during the bye week.

OT - who’s ready for Portageddon tonight at Midnight

Hadn’t seen it posted but the shits about to hit the fans at a cost of $5B per day. Not good at all for the country, economy and the governing party. If it’s lasts a week we won’t recover until 2025. I have a client with a shit ton of steel sitting on some boats on their way to Tampa. Not good.
