Gainesville Trip

My wife surprised me with hotel reservations in Gainesville for next weekend's game. We are booked at The Hilton - University of Florida. We haven't bought tickets yet, however they are super cheap.

Never been to Gainesville before. Hoping for great weather and wanted to ask for recommendations on places (restaurants, bars, ect.) With the game being at 11:00, I'm hoping for some celebratory drinks with good food.

Anyone, ever stayed at this hotel? Any other Gainesville pointers? Thanks in advance!

Dan Lanning…

I didn’t see this posted anywhere, but thought this was a good look into the motivator he is. I noticed in the Wisconsin game the Oregon players were dancing around to ‘Jump Around’ like they were in Eugene. It stood out to me that it was odd for an opposing team to participate in the other teams tradition like that. Well I saw the video below and was like holy shit that’s some 4d chess.

OT: Anybody know Geoff Calkins?

I know @Jeffrey Wright and @Neal McCready do very well.

I was just looking at the Firefox front page where they have a bunch of articles. Don't use it much anymore but look at it every now and then, but saw today an article on reading and a lady named Lucy Calkins and I thought I remembered that being Geoff's mother, but seeing her age it is his older sister.
In the Atlantic so I can only read the first few lines, but pretty sure it's her.
Sounds like she was cancelled, I'm curious as to why since if it was wokeness it would be pretty ironic. Or maybe pretty predictable considering how wokeness goes. Anybody know? Just funny I stumbled on it out of the blue.

Bitcoin

So a while back, I just threw like $350 at bitcoin. It has doubled now and I see its at $63k per coin…wish I had put $3500 in…sigh.
Anyway - surely this isn’t going a ton higher, right? I could see it getting to a crazy $80k or something and then crashing. Since it’s never going to skyrocket to $200k a coin, should I just cash out now at a double return and then buy when it inevitably crashes again?

Neal’s annoyance with the injury report from Lane

Full disclosure I haven’t read the injury report one time this year because I don’t gamble so it doesn’t really matter to me who’s playing or not before the game starts and I can just see for myself.

With that said has Lane said players would be out then they played or vice versa? Is Lane doing it differently than the other coaches in the league or different than the NFL does it? Not trying to argue with Neal or anyone else just curious why you’re so annoyed with it.
